3. Auto Coiling Machine with side film:
Length Counter:
➢ 2 wheels are used for length counting.
➢ Upper one press wire tightly when wire passes through the counter.
➢ An encoder is connected to the upper counting wheel for counting length. Both wheels
are made of aluminum alloy, the upper wheel is coated with ceramic and the lower one
is coated with rubber.
➢ Both wheels are equipped with a one way clutch to prevent the wire to be drawn back.
➢ Precision of measurement: ±3/1000
II. Coiling Head:
➢ Auto Height adjustment system, Can setting in HMI and record as receipt.
➢ Horizontal coiling wire from an extrusion line or from a pay-off machine.
➢ Automatically putting down & raising up by a pneumatic pusher.
➢ When the preset length has been reached, the machine will stop coiling, and the coiling
head will contract centripetal and raise up without hurting coil. The size of coiling head
is fixed and made as buyer’s request.
➢ If you want to change the I.D of your coil, you will need to change another size of coiling
head.
III. Traverse:
➢ A computerized system is used in the traversing system.
➢ Ball screw traverse is driven by a Mitsubishi 400W servo motor + Mitsubishi Servo
driver. A precise encoder sends the coiling signal from coiling motor to servo motor to
obtain a perfect synchronization in traversing pitch with that of coiling head.
IV. Cutter: (Hydraulic Cutting system)
➢ Gate type cutter will cut out wire automatically when the pre-set length is reached after
the coiling head has complete stop.
➢ A pneumatic cylinder drives double cutting knife.
➢ Cutting knife material: High quality SKD11 steel with heat treatment.
➢ Hydraulic Cutting system will be available to cut out the hard drawn wire or big size
cable by option.
V. 4 arms carrier:
➢ After finishing coiling a coil, the 4 arm carriers will hold the coil tightly and transmit the
coil to working plate.
